Joanna Niedzińska

Psychologist, Psychotherapist

I provide psychotherapy for adults. I work using an integrative approach, combining systemic, psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapy (SFT) for the benefit and needs of the client. I also work in English.

Education

I completed my master’s degree in psychology at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. I am a graduate of a psychotraumatology program based on the psychodynamic approach at the Pomeranian Center for Psychotraumatology in Gdańsk. Currently, I am participating in a comprehensive 4-year psychotherapeutic training at the Dialog Psychotherapy School, accredited by the Polish Psychiatric Association.

I continuously enhance my skills by attending various trainings, and my work is regularly supervised. I am a member of the Polish Psychiatric Association.

Professional Experience

I have around 20 years of experience working with people, supporting them in overcoming difficulties and personal growth. I gained professional experience both in managerial roles in international organizations and in individual developmental work, leading up to my current psychotherapeutic practice in private settings. I completed internships in the psychiatric ward at Wolski Hospital, as well as a several-month clinical internship at the Mazovian Center for Neuropsychiatry in Józefów.

Areas and Methods of Work

I work with adults who struggle with relationship-building difficulties, self-acceptance, depression, feeling overwhelmed by daily problems, or who need support in crisis situations. I am particularly interested in issues related to stress and professional burnout. I welcome individuals looking to improve the quality of their life and social or family relationships.

The most important healing factor in psychotherapy is the relationship between the client and the therapist. Therefore, I strive to create a safe atmosphere based on trust and openness. I approach each person individually, considering their needs and selecting appropriate tools and methods for our work. The first two to three sessions usually consist of consultations for psychotherapy. After these sessions, we jointly decide whether to begin the psychotherapy process.
